A Health Technology Assessment Report on Mandibular Two-Implant Overdentures

The primary objectives of this Health Technology Assessment (HTA) were to assess clinical outcomes (clinician- and patient-based) of ball-type mandibular two-implant overdenture treatment in comparison to treatment with: 1) removable mandibular complete dentures, 2) different types of attachments for mandibular two-implant overdenture, and 3) different loading protocols of the mandibular overdenture. The secondary objective was to conduct a cost analysis for this technology from a Canadian clinician’s perspective.
